Heath Ledger As The Joker

The first full length image of the new and very scary Joker graces the cover of film mag, Empire and is sure to cause anxieties for clown-phobics.

Ledger describes his interpretation of the villain in The Dark Knight as a "cold-blooded mass-murdering clown." In earlier interviews he has revealed it was his intention to be as dark as possible and used the film, A Clockwork Orange, as inspiration. "He has zero empathy," Ledger said.
